Napowrimo Day 2

just a short one today based on today’s constellation prompt it is just a short one.

Orion is my sky anchor

Despite my habit of getting drunk on starlight

The head crane when I encounter headiness

Of real dark I can map out just a handful of constellations

Often it is only his belt I can make out

When I was young and lived in a hillless place

We used to lie on our backs so everything

experienced was either sky or grass

and meditate on that scattered light

I’m liking that I’m getting to know more about you. I love the softness of the lines, structure suiting form. X

I love this to bits. You have that rare gift of strong endings.
