Napo Catch Up Day Four Prompt

I knew I was going to slip up this weekend as I am very busy I owe a poem for day 3 which will come eventually. I used this prompt: http://www.napowrimo.net/day-four-3/ I don’t normally do rhyme schemes but this is how this one came out.

I fear I have become too strong willed for affection

My heart though large is full with friends

There are spoons everywhere like silver punctuation

Too untidy to live with another I prioritise poems

And lying in bed radio plays sloshing over me, a word ocean

Then there is the matter of that tangle of brambles

That unrest and unease the skull is awash with commotion

It’s a tide I am rowing against another in the boat and it tips

we would both never come back for air a strange notion
